The Paris Air Show, an undisputed showcase for the aerospace industries, has been a success, shattering records with a fantastic presence of over 2,500 exhibitors. This event proved to be an excellent platform for networking, creating possibilities, and building new collaborations, with more than $150 billion in orders placed during the fair. MGM COMPRO was part of the Czech Republic’s national delegation to showcase our complex drive systems, battery systems, electric motors or speed controllers, and other products from our portfolio.

The exhibition attracted 380,000 people and 1,850 journalists over the course of the week, attracting both industry experts and an eager general audience. The Careers sector offered insights into future occupations, and the Paris Air Lab, a specialized location for research, innovation, and forward-thinking, was highlighted for attendees.

Visitors were treated to a stunning visual feast while admiring the 150 aircraft on exhibit, 50 of which were displayed in exhilarating flying demonstrations. Notably, the participation of over 322 official delegations, including visits from France’s President and the bulk of the French cabinet, added to the show’s worldwide relevance.

The Paris Air Show continues to demonstrate its importance as a must-attend event for the aeronautics and telecommunications sectors, where innovation and cooperation thrive, paving the way for a bright future in aviation and technology.

The year 2023 is marked by trade fairs, and IDET, the International Defence and Security Technology Fair, is no exception. The 17th edition took place in May at the Brno Exhibition Centre and once again confirmed its position among the most important European trade fairs of its kind. The event featured a comprehensive showcase of new technologies and options to counter security risks. A total of 551 exhibiting companies from 29 countries presented themselves this year, and more than 30,000 trade visitors from dozens of countries visited the trade fairs over three days.

Expansion of cooperation and new contacts

The fair is held with the support and participation of the most important political and military representatives of the Czech Republic. The largest exhibitor is the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic and the Army of the Czech Republic. The fair is visited by foreign military delegations and foreign ministries of defense for armaments. We were able to meet with our leading customers and partners and discuss important developments related to our complex electric propulsion systems, custom battery systems, and specialty electronics.

AERO Friedrichshafen 2023, the leading international trade show for General Aviation, lived up to its reputation this year with over 670 exhibitors from 35 nations. As always, all exhibitors focusing on electrically powered aircraft were grouped in Hall A7, designated entirely for green energy. Renowned companies showcased their latest innovations, including eVTOLs, gliders, drones, electric planes, and other cutting-edge products. MGM COMPRO was proud to be part of this event and had the opportunity to get new contacts and strengthen relationships with long-term customers and partners.

Organized Preparation and Impressive Stand

Preparations for the fair were seamless, and MGM COMPRO expanded its stand to over 200 m2 in Hall A7 to showcase its technology. We displayed our electric motors, brushless electric controllers, electric propulsion systems, batteries, and other electronics. To add a touch of variety, MGM COMPRO also invited two other companies, GP Gliders, and XSUN, to decorate the stand with their projects. GP Gliders brought a beautiful glider and XSUN brought its solar-powered drone to the show. Visitors could see both of these aircraft up close. Each project took one side of the stand, allowing visitors and business partners to see firsthand the projects in which MGM COMPRO was involved.
