Original solution of a propulsion system was developed to meet all necessary certifications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Technical data, which are worth noticing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Top speed 260km\/h&#8221;&#8217; (travelling speed 160km\/h)<\/li><li>Take-off weight 600kg&#8221;&#8217; (weight of airplane without batteries is 285kg)<\/li><li>Liquid-cooled Motor Rotex Electric, RE REB 90-5 with 75 kW (102 HP)<\/li><li>Propeller diameter 1,625m, 3-blade composite<\/li><li><strong>Electronic Speed Controller (ESC) MGM COMPRO HBC 400400<\/strong>, max. current peaks 300A<\/li><li><strong>Special airborne BMS by MGM COMPRO<\/strong><\/li><li>Battery Accu-Pack Kokam 80Ah, 90S<\/li><li><strong>Unique 6kW balance charger by MGM COMPRO<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Evektor EPOS airplane proudly represents these advantages<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Low operational costs<\/strong>\u00a0&#8211; 75% lower than with combustion engine<\/li><li><strong>Compact propulsion system<\/strong>\u00a0reduces number of motor components by 90%. That\u2019s why it\u2019s almost maintenance-free and very reliable.<\/li><li>Intuitive and simple control of propulsion system. It is not necessary to check the temperature of cylinders and richness of fuel mixture.<\/li><li><strong><a href=\"\/electric-motors\/\"><span >Electric motors<\/span> <\/a>are environment friendly<\/strong>. The airplane itself does not produce any pollution.<\/li><li>The airplane EPOS makes very low noise, which allows using it even on urban airports. This advantage increases the comfort for passengers as well.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Propulsion system of the airplane EPOS is an electric<\/strong>, almost maintenance-free, high-performance equivalent of the engine Rotax 912, which is the most common combustion engine for this airplane.
